Just hours before the G8 Summit gathered to determine the fate of the world’s economies, the pope released his third “encyclical,” called “Charity in Truth.” An encyclical is defined as:
For the modern Roman Catholic Church a Papal encyclical, in the strictest sense, is a letter, usually treating some aspect of Catholic doctrine, sent by the Pope and addressed either to the Catholic bishops of a particular area or, more normally, to the bishops of the world; however, the form of the address can vary widely, and often designates a wider audience. Papal encyclicals usually take the form of a Papal brief due to their more personal nature as opposed to the formal Papal bull. Papal encyclicals are so famous that the term encyclical is used almost exclusively for those sent out by the Pope. The title of the encyclical is usually taken from its first few words (its incipit).(sourece:Wikipedia)
From the Washington Times:
Benedict also called for a reform of the United Nations so that there could be a unified “global political body” that allowed the less powerful of the earth to have a voice, and he called on rich nations to help less fortunate ones.
“In the search for solutions to the current economic crisis, development aid for poor countries must be considered a valid means of creating wealth for all,” he wrote.[for full article click here]
In the most recent ‘encyclical’ by the pope, Benedict refers to the “Populorum Progressio.” Now that is an interesting read…the previous pope laid this one out and it sounds like the communist manifesto here’s an excerpt:
The Use of Private Property
23. “He who has the goods of this world and sees his brother in need and closes his heart to him, how does the love of God abide in him?” (21) Everyone knows that the Fathers of the Church laid down the duty of the rich toward the poor in no uncertain terms. As St. Ambrose put it: “You are not making a gift of what is yours to the poor man, but you are giving him back what is his. You have been appropriating things that are meant to be for the common use of everyone. The earth belongs to everyone, not to the rich.” (22) These words indicate that the right to private property is not absolute and unconditional.
No one may appropriate surplus goods solely for his own private use when others lack the bare necessities of life. In short, “as the Fathers of the Church and other eminent theologians tell us, the right of private property may never be exercised to the detriment of the common good.” When “private gain and basic community needs conflict with one another,” it is for the public authorities “to seek a solution to these questions, with the active involvement of individual citizens and social groups.” (23)
The Common Good
24. If certain landed estates impede the general prosperity because they are extensive, unused or poorly used, or because they bring hardship to peoples or are detrimental to the interests of the country, the common good sometimes demands their expropriation.
Vatican II affirms this emphatically. (24) At the same time it clearly teaches that income thus derived is not for man’s capricious use, and that the exclusive pursuit of personal gain is prohibited. Consequently, it is not permissible for citizens who have garnered sizeable income from the resources and activities of their own nation to deposit a large portion of their income in foreign countries for the sake of their own private gain alone, taking no account of their country’s interests; in doing this, they clearly wrong their country. My own commentary:
“What’s the big deal if the pope gives his two cents about the current financial crisis?” you might be asking yourself. Let me answer that by asking you a question, “What business is it of the leader of a Religion to tell the world powers how to manage their money?” Can any Religious leader offer their two cents without controversy? Can the Ayatollah of Iran tell the inhabitants of the world that we should all fall under Sharia Law (which by the way is for Muslims, if you’re not a Muslim and choose to not convert you must pay a TAX, so as to not get your head cut off.) Can a Southern Baptist Church leader read to you Proverbs 20:10 ” Diverse weights and diverse measures, They are both alike, an abomination to the LORD.” And declare that we are wrought with SIN in Mammon worship and ask the world to REPENT and believe on Jesus Christ? (BTW I don’t think the most popular Baptist Preacher, Rick Warren would say this.) Have I touched a nerve? Was that your last one?! Seriously folks, we are so brainwashed and deceived to believe that the Roman Catholic Church is somehow in charge when it comes to speaking for those who call themselves Christians. Catholicism is not the same as Christianity. It just isn’t. It’s no more “Christian” and “Charitable” than the Jizya Tax is to the unbeliever. (google that one yourself).
Scripture tells us that the Anti-Christ system will be a Universal Monetary System, ie “the Mark of the Beast” and will also be a Globalized Government (distributed into 10 regions or 10 kings at least for a small time) and a single Religious system. Daniel, Revelation, are reference books for these claims. So when the current pope issues a “Doctrinal Statement” on how to manage the “World’s Economies” I stand up and take notice that he sounds eerily like what I’ve heard the Scripture explicitly say. What I’m saying in plain English, is:
“Be Warned your adversary the Devil roams (Romes) about like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour.”
Our time here is drawing to a close, the deception is giving way to Strong Delusion and the window of opportunity to speak to those who still have an ear to hear is coming to a close as well.
Isaiah 66:3-5 (New King James Version)
3 “ He who kills a bull is as if he slays a man;
He who sacrifices a lamb, as if he breaks a dog’s neck;
He who offers a grain offering, as if he offers swine’s blood;
He who burns incense, as if he blesses an idol.
Just as they have chosen their own ways,
And their soul delights in their abominations,
4 So will I choose their delusions,
And bring their fears on them;
Because, when I called, no one answered,
When I spoke they did not hear;
But they did evil before My eyes,
And chose that in which I do not delight.”
Know your Word if you’re a Christian; saved by the Blood of the Lamb of God, the One Perfect Sacrifice for all humanity, the one who knew no sin, became sin, and died so that we can be forgiven of our sin and enter into eternal Life with Him who sent Him. be ye Holy…separate, not of this world, and count yourself blessed. If you do not know God…seek Him in His word. Start here…Exodus 20:3-17 then go to Romans 3 then John 1 I could do this all day…Read the Whole Word…Repent and Believe the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
UPDATE: FROM REUTERS, Obama meets with the Pope July 10, 2009
Obama told the pope during a picture-taking session after the private part of the audience: “We look forward to a very strong relationship between our two countries.”
The pope also gave the president a copy of his latest encyclical, “Charity in Truth,” which called for a “world political authority” to manage the global economy and for more government regulation of national economies to pull the world out of the current crisis and avoid a repeat.
