DO NOT believe Beck

Things have gotten to a whole new level of weirdness. Without having the time to explain, I simply ask you to not believe Glenn Beck and his new level of insanity. Reader, please be careful. Test all things.

Here’s an update on why I posted this latest warning on Glenn Beck. I saw several tweets this afternoon by BeckBots (my term for those who follow Glenn Beck blindly and defend him vehemently) that Glenn Beck is Warning Barack Obama to tell the truth to the public or ‘he’ (Glenn Beck) will. There is a WND (World Net Daily) article that is helping in this propaganda. I just viewed this YouTube video posted by Right Wing Media:

I don’t know exactly what Glenn Beck is trying to do, but he has a lot of followers who follow everything he says without any consideration for whom Glenn Beck really serves. I’ve warned extensively about Glenn Beck and that Christians should stop listening to him. Glenn Beck is a liar and a deceiver and he’s been leading Christians away from the truth. Beck is serving Mammon, he worships a false christ, and he is deceiving many for an even greater evil than his belly. If Glenn is being used to stir the American people into a frenzy of false information he would certainly qualify as a useful idiot for the role. He’s revered enough to instigate a civil disruption, of which would only serve Obama’s purposes. I don’t for a second believe Glenn Beck is on the side of “Truth” or the “American Way.” Here is the WND article: click here. I do not endorse WND, the founders of WND are connected to CNP and Jesuits. Beck has hosted Jesuit, Ret. General William Gerry Boykin. There appears to be a severe spiritual purpose behind these latest actions. I caution those who claim to be born again Christians who follow Glenn Beck to test him and his motives. We are not to believe every spirit but we should be testing them to see if they are truly followers of Christ. One key consideration, who is the author of Confusion? Is Glenn Beck causing confusion and hysteria? He keeps his readers and listeners in a constant state of frenzy and hopelessness as though impending doom lurks around every corner, is that Christ-like?

Chuck Smith Jr Writes N4TM: Chuck Smith Jr’s Response to Being a “Straight Ally For Gay Christians” among other things

Chuck Smith Jrchuck smith, jr.

Remarkable! It was interesting to read that I am “an advocate” for homosexual Christians. This is an example of either inadequate research or selective reporting–either one, in my opinion, demonstrates a lack of integrity. In that same video interview posted above, I explicitly stated that “I am not an advocate” for gay and lesbian Christians.

Have I sat “in the company” of homosexuals in conferences without delivering a word of judgment against them? Yes, I have. I went to them the way Jesus came into the world, not to condemn, but to save. And as He was sent into the world, so He sent His disciples into the world (Jn. 3:17; 17:18; 20:21). How many of these conferences have you been invited to come and speak? If none, how are do you plan on getting the gospel to gays and lesbians? Do you care whether they hear the gospel? Is it not your calling or concern?

You are misinformed regarding my contact with Roman Catholicism. I have never advocated for, or endorsed Thomas Merton. However, if he said something quotable that glorified God, I would not shrink back from quoting him. If Paul was comfortable quoting pagan poets and prophets, why should I avoid quoting someone whose beliefs I do not fully share? (Acts 17:28; Titus 1:12) There is a well-known fallacy of logic, argumentum ad hominem, which states that if you discredit the person, you discredit his argument, which in this case is tantamount to saying “Thomas Merton” was a Trappist monk, so everything Thomas Merton said was wrong.” People who may be wrong about everything else can still be right on one thing. As John Warwick Montgomery, conservative Christian theologian and apologist, said, “It’s hard to be wrong about EVERYTHING.”

By the way, I miss the days when to be a Christian apologist one had to be well-versed in logic, theology, philosophy, history, and original languages, as well as have an excellent knowledge of the entire Bible. John W. Montgomery is one of the few well-known apologists who are the real deal.

I have never advocated Roman Catholic dogma. My understanding of “contemplative prayer” is not drawn from Roman Catholicism, but from the Scriptures and especially the Psalms–which have been the source of hymns, prayer, and spiritual songs of God’s people for millennia. I have read many Roman Catholic authors including John Cassian, St. Augustine, Anselm, and Thomas Aquinas (most bonafide Christian apologists have also read Anselm, Augustine, and Aquinas). Furthermore, my reading list includes several works by Russian and Greek Orthodox theologians. I have also read The Institutes of John Calvin (who was a great fan of Augustine and quotes him frequently) and a host of other theological works and biblical commentaries by evangelical and fundamentalist authors. Martin Luther was also deeply interested in contemplative spirituality and strongly endorsed the work “The Theological Germanica.” But the only books I read without filters are the sixty-six books of the Bible.

On the other hand, many Protestants have been misled by anti-Catholic authors who have invented historical connections between Roman Catholicism and ancient pagan religions (such as Alexander Hislop’s “Two Babylons”). Not that I am defending everything that Roman Catholics around the world believe or do in the name of their religion. Nevertheless, I would not be surprised if the percentage of Roman Catholics who actually please God by walking with Him every day is at least as high as the percentage of Protestants who do so. Although I personally disapprove of praying to saints, I cannot believe that it is any worse than self-righteousness and hypocrisy.

You are wrong about me (actually, the church where I was Senior Pastor at the time) being “kicked out” of CC on the grounds that we were “emergent.” By the way, mijadedios, your “dove club” label is an uncharitable stab, to say the least, despite how deeply you feel CC deserves your ridicule. Anyway, that misinformation, sadly, came from my Uncle Paul. On at least three different occasions I carefully explained to him why neither I nor CBC were emergent. But he wasn’t listening to me because he had another agenda. Since he seemed uncomfortable in my meeting with him and had difficulty getting around to the point for wanting to see me, I asked him if it would be easier for him if I just removed CBC from the CC affiliation. He was instantly relieved and said answered, “Yes.”

Paul and a couple of his buddies at CCOF (during that period of time) had heard rumors about me and CBC that they never sought to substantiate for themselves by contacting me or visiting the church. They led a campaign to malign our work and to get us removed from the CC affiliation. I did not resist them, because it was something that mattered more to them than it did to me. Years ago, God impressed upon my heart that He is not into “brand” names, that the only name He endorses is the name above all names–that of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

One of my uncle’s friends went on to slander me on blogs and in print, accusing me of spending a sabbatical in a monastery (I didn’t) and returning to my church to hang icons so that people could pray to them (never happened). There were thousands of people who attended CBC over the years, so it would be easy enough to find just one person to corroborate that author’s claim. But no one ever will, because I have never believed in praying to icons and never taught anyone to pray to icons.

As far as Lonnie goes, why don’t you talk to people who knew him in order to get at the truth? Why do you think you can learn everything you need to know from video clips, articles, and other blogs? Do you let other people read the Bible for you or do you read it for yourself? Do you take just bits and pieces of the Bible and dismiss the rest? If you don’t trust others enough to let them tell you what the Bible says, why do you give them your full trust when it comes to other Christians–Christians you could easily contact or whose close friends and family are reachable? Why are you so quick to find flaws in others and then rush to condemn them? Really! Do you believe this pleases God? In fact, among the things that God hates are “A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” (KJV, on David’s behalf–my first Bible and the version I read through cover-to-cover before reading through any other. It is also my dad’s favorite and that which he most frequently quotes verbatim.)

Lonnie did not consider himself a homosexual and he believed that homosexual sex was a sin. He never endorsed homosexuality. When I first heard of his past (i.e., prior to his conversion to Jesus Christ), he had renounced it and considered himself a “new creature in Christ.” He was married to Connie at the time and he certainly did not continue “to act out openly in gay relationships throughout his life” (I find this statement of N4TM’s especially offensive, because it is an outright lie). I witnessed times when Lonnie prayed over other people that they would be delivered from their temptation to engage in homosexual sex.

Lonnie and I did not remain friends through the years, mostly because we got on two different tracks in ministry with two different emphases. I was not his greatest fan, but I didn’t criticize him either. After all is said and done, Lonnie was a child of God who struggled.

What do we call it when someone attributes motives to another person without having an accurate (or even close to accurate) understanding of the details? Again, it is remarkable to me that Christians behave the way they do, assuming that because they’re convinced their doctrine is more orthodox than another person’s, they are justified in making up stories or motives about that person. What happened with our weekly meetings in the Fromm’s home was no “publicity stunt.” A few corrections:

Chuck Fromm is the publisher of Worship Leader Magazine, not Leadership (Journal). He did not “found” Maranatha! Music, but he did run it for approximately thirty-five years.

Chuck and Stephanie have had many Bible studies in their home. It was a neighbor’s complaint about our meetings there that involved the city government, which imposed a fine on the Fromms for hosting weekly meetings. The Fromm’s initial attempts to meet with the city government and work this out were ignored and then shut down. That is when the Pacific Justice Institute got involved (I don’t know what the ACLJ is, but I certainly don’t have access to it–or to the ACLU). The lawyers with the Pacific Justice Institute defend the rights of churches all over the U.S. (and were also strong proponents of Prop. 8). They had won a similar case in San Diego county the previous year. They took the issue to the press and within a few weeks the city issued an apology, admitted that their initial response to our meetings was too aggressive, promised to review the law on their books (prohibiting weekly meetings in homes), and the whole thing was quickly settled out of court. It’s true that the Pacific Justice Institute was interested in carrying the case further, hoping to get a landmark decision in a higher court, but that wasn’t what we wanted. In fact, we had already moved our Bible study by the time the city submitted its apology. If it had been a publicity stunt, we certainly would have carried it further. However, we never exploited the media attention that arrived at the Fromm’s front door and I never consented to an interview. From the start, I wanted peace with the city.

Good Grief, mijadedios! I don’t know what else to say, except that it’s simply rotten of you to glibly refer to this ordeal as a publicity stunt. For what purpose would we do such a thing? What got publicized? The name of our small community of believers was never mentioned. If you had any idea of what the Fromm’s suffered from this whole thing or if you had even a meager understanding of their love for the Lord Jesus Christ and devotion to His people, I doubt you would smugly dismiss this unhappy season of their lives as a publicity stunt. However, God who works all things together for good, used this experience to introduce the Fromm’s to city hall and they are now on good terms with the city’s leaders. In fact, Chuck Fromm is friends with the Mayor who is also a born again Christian.

Yes, I’ve sat in the radio station with my dad a few times to answer questions on Pastor’s Perspective over the last couple of years. Each time, it was at Dad’s request when Don Stewart was out of town. Whatever it may mean to you that my dad asked me to be a guest on his show, please present to me one instance when an answer I gave contradicted the clear teaching of the Bible. If you can prove that I misinterpreted the Scriptures, I will return to this blog site, apologize, and change my view. If you cannot, then why make a big deal about me going on the air with my father? Also, if you discover that I provided a biblical answer to someone that reflected both a good understanding of God’s word and compassion for the caller, would you consider apologizing to me?

unhihodedios

N4TM’s response:

I think the above, “unhihodedios,” was an attempt to say I’m not a child of God. Mija de Dios means Daughter of God. *It just occurred to me that this was Chuck Jr signing ‘Un hijo de dios’ translation: “A child of God.” Sorry, I don’t speak spanish so it took me a while to figure that one out.* I appreciate all you have to say here and I’m grateful to hear from you. It is more than I’ve heard from anyone I’ve written about. I have a lot to consider in what you are saying above and will take time to read through over and over and truly understand and discern the obvious aggravation from my accusations from the truth you are trying to convey. I’m glad you took the time to address the issues I brought up not just in the “Straight Ally for Gay Christians” piece I wrote, but you are also, very clearly, reading and addressing many posts I’ve written on Calvary Chapel including posts on Chuck From and Lonnie Frisbee. May I say that I do not harbor any personal hatred for you or even your father for that matter. What I do find heart wrenching and discouraging is the false teaching that’s been promoted for years, the lies that have been perpetuated, the people who have been used and abused by the CC system and much much more. But I am not about “Discrediting” or “Slandering” you. I was calling it as I see, yes with the limited information I have that I gather online, through hours of video, transcripts, personal experience, etc. Again I say, “Thank You,” and I will consider all the things you present here. I may take time to edit this reply after reading through your comment more carefully or I may chose to leave the issue alone, it depends on how the Lord leads.

The Black Pope on PDF a Summer Read

I was doing some ‘research’ on the topic of the “Black Pope” and I found this book in PDF form:

http://pdf.amazingdiscoveries.org/eBooks/Black_Pope.pdf

Disclaimers: A) I haven’t read past page 10 yet so I’m not endorsing this book. B) I’m not a fan or supporter of “Amazing Discoveries or Vatican Assassins” which is on the website of this book. C) I did not find this on Amazing Discoveries which is a Seventh Day Adventist apologetics/”Discernment” site. I’m not a SDA nor do I endorse their material. This is for INFORMATIONAL purposes only. Please use Discernment. I saw this preface page and it caught my attention:The Black Pope pdf book online preface

I have often checked out a book from the Library or bought it second hand with the intention of reading the whole thing and then never finish it. For example I have, “The Secret History of the Jesuits” by Edmond Paris (Click here for Free PDF) and I’ve never read the whole thing through. I’ve read bits and pieces and I keep it as a resource. It doesn’t take much for me to figure out that the papacy is false and those who support it are deluded. Those who think of Jesuits as “humble servants” are deluded as well. It doesn’t take much time of researching via Google to understand the Jesuits have done some nasty things throughout history.

The fact that the current pope is a Jesuit and the Jesuits have been kicked out of countries and politics the world over for hundreds of years should at least draw the hardest of cynics like myself to pay attention. Paying attention doesn’t imply any concern or worry on my part. Don’t let this post translate into something it’s not. I don’t get preoccupied with Black vs. White and I don’t lose sleep or become hopeless in a future for myself because of this simple truth, “Greater is He who is in me than he who is in this world…” 1 John 4:4.

Perhaps you are unaware of the famous Jesuits you already know and need a small reminder.

Calvary Chapel’s ungodly “Seat of Moses” Government Continues unabated

What does the Bible have to say about “Moses’ seat?”

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of  men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.” Matt.23:1-13

From Calvary Chapel Distinctives:

WE BELIEVE that the church government should be simplistic rather than a complex bureaucracy, and we depend on the Holy Spirit to lead, rather than on fleshly promotion. We recognize there are various biblical models for governing a local church body; however, we follow the biblical model of a pastor-led church as demonstrated by God’s leading the nation of Israel through Moses, and by Christ leading His flock through pastors of the early church. CCOF is now CCA (Calvary Chapel Association)

Here’s the “Leadership Council” page

Here’s the “Regional Leadership” Map page

I left CC and I’m happy that I am no longer in that “Movement.” (That was me being kind) They still meet: 2012 Pastors Convention (click here), they still have their circuit speakers and “experts” defining the end of the world and who’s Apostate (Rick Warren-but not BFF Greg Laurie or ancient Jedi night Chuck Smith who mentored them) and who’s not: Greg Laurie, Skip Heitzig, Bob Coy, Gayle Erwin and Chuck Smith. I’ve said so much on CC already it feels like a moot point to report on them any further. There are people, beside myself, who have survived the throws of such a cult and to my fellow survivors I say, “Praise the Lord! You are free!” To those who are still engulfed in the “CC Movement” I pass no judgement on you (unless you know how deep and seedy things are there and continue to sit under such falsity) one day you may find yourself seeking the whole truth about this “Movement” and you’ll find your way back to this website and others who’ve trudged the road less traveled and tried to shed light on the darkness within CC.

In the meantime CC continues to grow (wide is the gate).  It’s not unusual that a “Movement” such as this has yet to cease from existence. Jesus warned us there would be false teachers, false Christs, and so it has been since before and since Jesus walked this earth. The truth does always win out~ the men who are sitting on the seat exalted of their own accord will be made known and it’ll be God’s doing not N4TM.  The further and longer it has been since I left CC I am less aware of what CC is up to, and I like it that way!

David Barton Rewriter of History Now has his own Bible!

I came across a tweet today and the link was to this very well written expose about David Barton, “Confirmed: David Barton’s Founders’ Bible Cites Pro-Slavery James Hammond as Proponent of America as Christian Nation,” By Warren Throckmorton. The link is not an endorsement. It was refreshing to see someone else warning about Barton’s blatant rewrite of history and now his addition of adding a Pro-Slavery non-believer to a “Bible” just seemed apropos for Barton’s next phase.

David Barton is a known and exposed False teacher. He is one of the biggest cons to surface in recent years. Barton is backed by Calvary Chapel, Chuck Missler, Glenn Beck, John Hagee, just to name a few other false teachers.

I can only pray that my brothers and sisters in the Lord would cease from their ear tickling long enough, step away from lifting up America as an idol of worship, and return to the True Word of God for direction in all things. The simple fact that there is an audience and a market for David Barton, Missler, Beck, et. al is sad, however it is a fulfillment of prophecy, the great falling away is apparent. Cling to the Words of Jesus and not some charlatan who’s out to make a buck and a name for himself.

Worse Than The Patriot’s Bible: David Barton’s The Founders’ Bible (not an endorsement of the site- no link ever is) “Three years ago, it was the The Patriot’s Bible oh that just so happened to be printed with the rise of the Tea Party. Now, just in time for the 2012 elections, we have the The Founders’ Bible brought to us by the same people who gave us William P. Young’s The Shack.” End of Quote.

http://www.rightwingwatch.org/category/people/david-barton

Barton is not the only one who’s written his own version of the Bible or published a Bible Commentary book to promote his own twisted interpretation of the Scripture. Another Pastor, Rick Warren wrote one for Barack Obama called the Poverty and Justice Bible. It was promoted by the likes of Tony Campolo and Bono. Same hat trick, different mad hatter.

The Apostate Church’s minions for propaganda

Above is Pamela Gellar. In the blogosphere she’s knows as “Atlas Shrugs.” She has mushroomed into an entity and an enterprise since the days I first learned of her. When I discovered this lady it was through Front Page Magazine, David Horowitz. I learned of Front Page Mag from, Discover the Networks. I learned about Discover the Networks from Jihad Watch, Robert Spencer. Robert Spencer I learned of from Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily. I learned of World Net Daily, Joseph Farah from Calvary Chapel Prophesy Conferences (Featuring: Chuck Missler, David Hocking, Roger Oakland, Jack Hibbs, Bridgette Gabriele, Walid Shoebat, Kamal Saleem, Avi Lipkin and the list goes on and on.) All these people are interwoven they all have a purpose and that is to disseminate the ‘divide and rule’ ideology. They use the Word of God and twist it to play off the fears of persecution, they angle it so that you are spoon fed the lie that if you don’t annihilate the Muslim countries first, they will come and kill you in your sleep. There are more names and they all work together. Think of those that do speaking engagements just alongside of the ones I’ve mentioned so far. Imagine if you would for one moment that a corrupt Mass Media system would not be complete if it did not have every “Christian” media organization in it’s pocket as well. I know for most of you out there what I’m saying sounds like crazy talk. “How can the church be the ones responsible for spreading lies and hate and division; all they’re doing is sounding the warning, blowing the trumpet, protecting liberty and freedom and supporting Israel!” Right. Said the little sheep who bleats and does not test the spirit. These people have entourages, detail, body guards when they show up at churches. That’s stuff of the CIA and controlled op, not a “brother/sister” in the Lord who’s putting their “life” on the line to sound a trumpet call. They hang out after the speech and sign autographs, sell their books, DVD’s, Mp3′s; and you sign up for their “free” newsletter. I hate to sound old, ugly, tired, and jaded; all of which I know and admit I am when it comes to trying to educate the brethren of the deep rooted and very WIDE deception that encompasses the Church of America, but I guess I’m guilty as charged.

This ad that Pamela Gellar is going to run in New York on MTA within days is her free speech. I accept it as free speech. I believe she has every right to be bigoted as her counterpart Terry Jones and Nakoula Basseley Nakoula (the Producer/Director of “Innocence of Muslims). People have the right to be opinionated, obnoxious, wrong, right, left, straight, gay, Christian, Muslim, Idiot, savage and civilized, absolutely. However,

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 16:25.

Just because we can be and have the “right” to be that doesn’t mean it is profitable. In my opinion what Gellar is doing is not fruitful. The ad does not bear witness of God the Father and absolutely not of Jesus Christ’s works.

The media and the church at times instigate fear and rhetoric into our everyday life, so much so that we don’t realize how much and to what extent we are being primed and brainwashed.

At one time I liked Pam Gellar, I thought she had spunk, then once I began to test the fruit I saw little to no fruit of the Spirit. There is no peaceableness with these people because their very existence is based on instilling fear and running you ragged with propaganda of hate. Bringing in an intelligence operative of over 25 years, having a retired General who is a blatant Jesuit Knight who’s sworn an oath to the Pope into the church to teach the body about Islam is not the work of Christ, this is blatant programing. If you can’t see it, if you have never once wondered or pondered why some churches are so heavily politicized and attempt to inoculate the body to accept War and death and annihilation to a whole populace (yes that’s you being controlled and manipulated to accept war and killing “them” those “evil Muslims”) and stopped to see what Jesus had to say about how to treat your enemies, and how to react when you are condemned and persecuted for His namesake, well then, I have nothing to say.

Chuck Missler is Amiss.

*Disclaimer: Videos presented on this post are for Examining what Missler is teaching and what/whom he has learned from they are not to be considered endorsements!

Stop at 0:24 seconds! Who is Rabbi “Moses” Cordevaro? Google Results were for Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, a Kabbalist. Here are some hits:

• The renowned Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, head of the Rabbinical Court of Tzfat, wrote a book called Pardes Rimonim in 1549. On page 68, he writes that the secrets of the Torah are revealed in its letters through many means, including “skipping of letters”. •   “One of the greatest of all Kabbalists was Rabbi Moshe Cordovero. He was born in 1522 in Safed, the city that was soon to become famed as a center of Kabbalah. At a young age, he already gained a reputation as an extroardinary genius. Besides his knowledge in Kabbalah, he was a Talmudic scholar and philosopher of the highest rank, and was widely respected in these fields. He was even one of the four to receive the special semichah-ordination from Rabbi Yaakov Beirav in 1538, along with Rabbis Yosef Caro (Cordovero’s teacher in Jewish Law), Moshe of Trani and Yosef Sagis, all of whom were much older and better known than the young prodigy.” Source: http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/83771/jewish/Rabbi-Moshe-Cordovero.htm (link not an endorsement)

Chuck Missler and Lambert Dolphin (pictured).

Missler’s video above is on the topic of “Bible Codes” and more specifically “EQUIDISTANT LETTER SEQUENCES.” When I Googled just “Equidistant Letter Sequences” an article written by Lambert Dolphin, Chuck Missler’s old time friend, popped up. Coincidentally the entire article sounds like what Chuck Missler gave in his short video; more importantly Lambert’s article pointed me in the right direction, finding out where Dolphin and Missler get their “ideas” from! Below is an excerpt from one of Mr. Dolphin’s posts:

“Hidden Scientific Codes in Genesis”

“It has become fashionable for contemporary Bible teachers to claim that Genesis is not intended to give a scientific, detailed account of how God created the universe, but that rather it is often said that the Hebrew prose of the opening book of the Bible is painted in broad brush strokes only. However, when one looks at a level below the obvious translation of the text into meaningful words understood as human language, the text of Genesis actually contains an encrypted code revealing the geometry of time and space, patterns for all living things, and the roots of all every alphabet and every language known to man!

Some years ago a Jewish scholar, Stan Tenen of the Meru Foundation noticed that the ordered arrangement of the Hebrew letters of Genesis 1:1 was not random. If 27 letters of the Hebrew alphabet were assigned a numerical value from 1 to 27 (with Aleph being counted as a “0″) then Genesis 1:1 (and all the subsequent text thus far examined) can be easily decoded into patterns using a counting base of 3. (emphasis added)

It should be noted that Tenen’s work is not the same thing as Biblical numerology—where numbers occurring in the text of the Bible (such as 3, 4, 6, 12, 40, etc.) can be seen to have symbolic meaning. Likewise Tenen is not dealing with what is usually thought of as esoteric Jewish Kabalistic mysticism, or Christian mysticism, in his analysis. What he has discovered is that the text of the Bible is actually an incredible computer code with built-in error correction features and levels of complexity. These findings taken all by themselves apart from faith or religious belief system immediately suggest the Bible is indeed much more than the inspired words of religious writers, but must in fact be the very Word of God.

Much wild and fanciful material has been written on the so called “Bible codes” in recent years–and most of it is either erroneous or at best useless. However the actual hidden structures in the Bible are really there and attest eloquently to the Divine Authorship of our Bibles. The definitive book on this subject is The Cosmic Codes, by Chuck Missler. It is extremely thorough and carefully written.” Source: Lambert Dolphin http://www.ldolphin.org/Introgen.html (not an endorsement. Dolphin’s article links to K-House)

N4TM- In the above excerpt Dolphin is misleading the reader. He says “Jewish Scholar” Stan Tenen, Stan Tenen is a Kabbalist fair and square. I have posted below Stan Tenen’s own video where he gives the exact explanation for ELS’s and it sounds exactly like what Missler explained. Another aspect where Dolphin distorts the truth is when he states that Tenen is “not” dealing with Kabbalistic mysticism, but according to Tenen’s own words that is exactly what he’s done. Make sure to watch the whole  3 parts of Tenen’s videos, it’s thirty minutes but if you watch and listen with discernment it explains a lot about him, and he is who Lambert and Missler are getting their information from! Picture of Lambert Dolphin “at his computerized Ouija board” was taken from his own site! Below is one more excerpt from another one of Dolphin’s posts:

“Editors Note: I have long been interested in the possibility of hidden codes in the Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible. Stan Tenen of the Meru Foundation has been doing remarkable, and I believe meaningful, computer analysis of Genesis from which he has gleaned what would appear to be some amazing geometrical properties of the universe. Recently interest in Torah Codes has mushroomed both among Christians such as Grant Jeffrey, numerous groups of Torah scholars in Israel, and others, for instance The Official Torah Codes Page .

I welcome Uri Marcus’ article which helps bring balance and reason to this discussion since many extravagant claims are being made. Lambert Dolphin, February 22, 1997. Thanks to Grant Jeffrey and Yacob Rambsel also for their response at the end of this article.” Source: Lambert Dolphin http://www.ldolphin.org/torahcodes.html (not an endorsement, the links were hypertext in his original post and are also not endorsed by N4TM)

Missler’s Video above has more details in it that are red flags but I am not going to expound on everything in this post.

Stan Tenen of the Meru Foundation:

Stan Tenen read what? Kabbalah books. He also read every other type of Mystical literature. In this video he doesn’t mention reading the New Testament. I don’t want to waste too much time researching Mr. Tenen, but you get the point with this thirty minute video don’t you? Do you know, or can you see the vanity, the divination being practiced? Can you discern the symbols he uses, and that he ultimately says that all religions are true (part 3 video)?

Stan Tenen is just one Kabbalist where Missler and Lambert are getting their information. They are basing their “biblical” knowledge and discernment based of mystics, rabbi’s who are not converted to believe in Jesus Christ the Messiah, and yet they are “using” their bible decoding system? What is the purpose here? Is Missler trying to encode the listener and students he has? I never heard of Kabbalah until I listened to a Chuck Missler CD on “exposing Kabbalah.” I never paid any attention to Quantum physics until I heard Mr. Missler allude to it at nausea in his teachings.

Someone asked me in the comment section on a previous post, Slight of hand: False Prophet Chuck Missler still on Speaker Schedule with other Calvary Chapel Discerners, “You failed to say what the heresy was. He s the best Bible scholar l know on tv or internet. In fact possibly one of the very few l would call a scholar on tv. Please do let me know what heresy you re talking about.” I told this commenter that I was not ignoring her comment but rather I was praying about whether or not to do a separate post on Missler’s heresy.

Hindsight is 20/20

It was not until I completely left Calvary Chapel that I recognized the error that seems so clear to me now. Missler’s air of expertise and his vast vocabulary of areas we the common people have little knowledge of can be impressive and also deceptive. Since I don’t know the first thing about “M-theory” when Missler spoke of it and I had only known him from Calvary Chapel and Prophesy Conferences held in Churches or sponsored by churches held in conference centers, one assumed it was biblical or at least that Missler knew what he is talking about. I sought to explain how Missler is Amiss, and for me it doesn’t take much to come to this conclusion. This video is not how I learned about Missler being false it’s a demonstration and an example of his false teachings. Start examining what he’s teaching. I watch a video, such as the one at the beginning of this post, I stop and ask a question, Who is Missler referring to? I looked him up (Rabbi Moshe Cordovero), the guy is a Kabbalist! Then I continue to hear the rest of the video, he’s talking about ELS’s; What is that I ask myself, and I Googled it. I see Lambert Dolphin has written on the topic. From previous research on Missler I have come to know how lengthy Dolphin’s relationship with Missler is. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Dolphin is one of Missler’s ghost writers. I read Dolphin’s article, he keeps referring to Stan Tenen, who’s that guy? Stan Tenen is a Kabbalist. Once I watched the full 30 minute video “Frist light” by Stan Tenen it sounded exactly like what Chuck Missler spoke on in the video on ELS’s. It doesn’t take much more than that for me to realize that Mr. Missler is learning from Kabbalists and he’s rewriting their teachings and putting a “Christianese” flair on it and selling it off as though he has some inside tract on decoding the bible. I could go a step further and ask is Missler encoding his subjects while he’s presumably teaching about ‘decoding’ the Bible? On another video I’ve seen of Missler, with Sid Roth on “It’s Supernatural,”  Missler is spewing his “Aliens are Demons, fallen Angels, ie, Nephilim,” (Not an Endorsement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54DRUR57Oos) I discerned that he’s taking scripture out of context and putting his own “theory” on it. Or is it his theory? Maybe his theory on Demons being UFO’s came from his friends Grant Jeffery and/or Tom Horn who study the paranormal. I’ve reported on Missler’s CNP connections, his ties to Tim LaHaye, his SwanSat business, attempting to create a single currency for Africa via the Auric, not to mention his false prophesy of the Y2K computer malfunction that never happened that is public knowledge. If you look at Chuck Missler and test his teachings against scripture and not the other way around it will not be long before Scripture tells you his teaching are false. What he’s doing by quoting Enoch (Apocrypha & non-canonized) and quoting Kabbalah and trying to use Mystical and Extra-Biblical teachings to “illuminate” the scriptures is backwards and it’s called Divination.

divination

DIVINATION, n. L., to foretell. See Divine.

1. The act of divining; a foretelling future events, or discovering things secret or obscure, by the aid of superior beings, or by other than human means. The ancient heathen philosophers divided divination into two kinds, natural and artificial. Natural divination was supposed to be effected by a kind of inspiration or divine afflatus; artificial divination was effected by certain rites, experiments or observations, as by sacrifices, cakes, flour, wine, observation of entrails, flight of birds, lots, verses, omens, position of the stars, &c.

2. Conjectural presage; prediction.

Leviticus 19: 31

31 ‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 18:10

10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

2 Kings 17:17

17 And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.

Leviticus 20:6-7

‘And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.

My most favorite scripture that helps me with this sort of discernment:

“If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put away the evil from your midst.” Deuteronomy 13:1-5

Why They Do Not Warn: Part 2 Lonnie Frisbee

I think I’ll let the video speak for itself for now.

Below is some info on whom it was Lonnie Frisbee met in South Africa.

The man pictured in the seat at the beginning of the video is Dr. Derek Morphew.

So if you didn’t know who Derek Morphew is, he is the founding pastor of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Kenilworth, Cape Town, South Africa. He has been a pastor since 1973 and has often been involved in church planting. Derek serves on the national leadership team of the Association of Vineyard Churches in South Africa and is the international director of Vineyard Bible Institute, having obtained a BA in Theology from Rhodes University and a Ph.D. in the field of New Testament Studies from the University of Cape Town. He has written two published works, South Africa; the Powers Behind and Breakthrough; Discovering the Kingdom along with one E Publication,  The Spiritual Spider Web, a Study of Ancient and Contemporary Gnosticism  and various in house publications for Vineyard Bible Institute. Source here (not an endorsement)

More on Derek Morphew:

Morphew said that the rediscovery of Jesus and his Kingdom message enabled us to see the whole biblical story of covenant and grace in a new way, through Kingdom eyes. The course, which was attended by delegates from a number of different churches, was hosted at Fountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Morphew has been a pastor since 1973 and is the founding pastor of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Kenilworth, Cape Town. He has served in the Vineyard movement for many years, and currently serves on the national leadership team of the Association of Vineyard Churches in South Africa. He is the international director of the Vineyard Biblical Institute, for which he has written various in-house publications (see http://www.vineyardbibleinstitute.org/ and http://vbivc.org/) and is also the head of Vineyard International Publishing.

Having obtained a BA in Theology from Rhodes University and a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Cape Town, Derek has a great passion and enthusiasm for teaching God’s Word, with an especially keen interest in Kingdom Theology. He has a real gifting, and through this he is able to teach on this topic with immense insight and truth. Morphew has written numerous books, which include: Breakthrough: Discovering the Kingdom; Biblical Interpretation 101: Historic Rules for Reading the Bible; Different but Equal: Going Beyond the Complementarian/Egalitarian Debate; Five Frontiers to Freedom (with Jeffery Morphew); South Africa: The Powers Behind; Principalities and Ideologies in South Africa Today and The Kingdom of God. He has also written  a “Kingdom Theology Series” of books, which includes: The Implications of the Kingdom (with Kim Hough); The Phenomena of the Kingdom; The Mission of the Kingdom; The Prophet’s Voice: Hebrews – Prophecy, Rhetoric, Interpretation; The Spiritual Spider Web: A Study in Ancient and Contemporary Gnosticism; and Law and Grace: Conscience and License. Vineyard/Calvary Chapel connection

For those who know that Lonnie Frisbee’s presence in Calvary Chapel History has been all but erased, it appears that Vineyard has done just as much to cover Frisbee tracks as well. At this site http://www.vineyard.org.za/?p=18 There is no mention of Lonnie Frisbee at all. Individual accounts are that Frisbee’s role was great, but it’s not on their main website. Remember, John Wimber came out of Calvary Chapel and went with Chuck Smith’s blessing to Yorba Linda, CA to start para-church sites.

I also listened to the full “testimony” that Lonnie Frisbee gave at Vineyard. I’ve not heard the whole entire “sermon” if you could even call it that until today. It was highly informational since Lonnie voluntarily offers up information on his early days at Calvary Chapel and how he was treated. The whole entire message sounded like he was having a good laugh at the fact that he was faking his “gifting” most of the time. Frisbee gives an account for his theology that allows some hits and some misses when being a prophet or a healer are so obviously unscriptural, however the audience laughs right along with him.

Back to the video posted

Originally I had not added commentary to the video I posted of Lonnie Frisbee. I did that intentionally to get ‘you’ the reader to listen for yourself and discern for yourself. Then I added a few pieces of who Derek Morphew is because I don’t know anything about him and he’s at the beginning of the video introducing that Lonnie Frisbee came out to South Africa to speak at his church. Derek is the founder of Vineyard in South Africa. Derek in the video states that there was a “counter part” movement to the Jesus People Movement in South Africa. He also states that “Lonnie” wanted to come out and see it. However when Lonnie speaks in the same video he challenges Chuck Smith when Chuck Smith suggests Africa, “why, do you wanna get rid of me?” There were some other key points Lonnie referenced one of them being when he took time as a Pastor for Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to go to Riverside at All Saints Episcopal church to minister. Chuck Smith sent him to an Episcopal church? Chuck Smith came out of a Foursquare church, of which it is said he ministered for 14 years (approximate). Below is an account by a man who describes meeting Lonnie the day Lonnie brought Greg Laurie to Christ.

It was during one of these lunch fellowships that Lonnie Frisbee singled out Greg. Greg came into the center of the circle and fell under the power of the Holy Spirit and came up born again. Funny thing, today someone has planted a tree right where Greg got saved, with some other trees in a big circle around it, as if to memorialize the event. (Note: The school has since been renovated and re-landscaped so those trees are long gone. (…) Greg built his entire ministry upon the ministry foundation of Lonnie Frisbee. Most historians only attribute two great moves of God to Lonnie Frisbee, I attribute Harvest Christian Fellowship and Harvest Crusades directly to Lonnie’s foundational work at All Saints Episcopal. Of course Greg put in all of the sweat equity.

All Saints Episcopal in Riverside California had invited Lonnie to hold services there for awhile. Which resulted in several hundred new believers. Greg stepped in and built upon this foundation of new believers. With the help of Chuck Smith, Greg was able to build a strong church on this foundation. That small group became Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California USA, one of the eight largest churches in America, as well as the third largest in California. Lonnie Frisbee “A beach story”

Here’s another account from Lonnie himself. I copied this mp3. I found the mp3 on this site http://lonnierayfrisbee.com/# (not an endorsement). From this blog it appears that this is an attempt by Lonnie himself to give his own biography. The author did not continue posting. There are several videos, some I’ve seen before. This is not where I found the video above of Lonnie Frisbee in South Africa, although it is on this blog as well. I will be posting the link to his full testimony that I listened to that in my opinion is Lonnie making jest of his fakery at being a “pastor” and having a “healing ministry.”

Here is the testimony given by Lonnie himself at John Wimber’s church. This is an audio that is dubbed over scrolling pictures. The pictures are interrupted on occasion by a text that says, “Snow boarding.” I thought it was unusual but it’s not my video. There is a part 2 which is another 15 minutes or so. I listened to most of that video but cut it off before the end when Lonnie supposedly calls down the spirit and the people in the audience are ‘slain,’ just my own precautionary measure it doesn’t mean you should cut it off.

Listen with Discernment. Pay attention.

Lonnie Frisbee has been documented pretty extensively for someone who has been blotted out of the Calvary Chapel history books. Greg Laurie does not recoil when talking about Lonnie Frisbee’s role in his salvation and younger days of discipleship. Greg Laurie readily admits that Frisbee was “great.” Chuck Smith Jr. also regards him highly. Lonnie had odd connections throughout his evangelizing days. In today’s terms we might say he was “post modern” “emergent” “ecumenical” and globally “missional.” He states in the testimony that he was reading Edgar Casey when he was making his own “anointing oil” so he added “witch hazel.” Casey was a devout member of Church of Christ (a cult) and is credited with the foundations of the New Age Movement. Source here Edgar Casey.  Just from listening to Lonnie’s testimony I can deduce that he had ‘another spirit’ that does not align with the sound doctrine. Frisbee was exploited by Smith, Laurie, Wimber, Morphew, just to name a few. Frisbee, in the midst of his delusions and fakery, realized that Mega Church planting was held above scripture and the Holy Spirit. There is no doubt he was confused and in the grips of his own sin, but when he began to understand that the ‘John Birchers’ were in control they dispersed him to spread  his “anointing” elsewhere. Frisbee’s charismata and fakery was his success and his downfall. I think it’s important to know the beginning of CC, the whole truth, so that you know what spirit is leading them. Chuck Smith was wrong for using him and abusing him and exploiting Frisbee then blacklisting him, just as much as Frisbee was wrong for impersonating a work of God. Chuck Smith wasn’t trying to protect his flock ‘from’ Frisbee’s sensational signs and wonders behavior, that is exactly what Smith utilized concerning Frisbee. What Chuck Smith was attempting to do was distract Frisbee and continue his mission of growing his church. Why they do not warn about certain people is not because they disagree with that particular false teacher who remains protected, it’s because of their connection to their own past they want to keep covered up. Did you know that Frisbee was instrumental to John Rutkay and Marc Dupont who prophesied the Toronto outpouring? Did you know that Paul Cain, a word of faith charismatic former pastor who was removed from the pastorate for being in a homosexual relationship and an alcoholic stated that Chuck Smith was his campaign manager and “more pentecostal” than he was? Why do people avoid talking to Paul Cain about Chuck Smith’s early days? Did you know Paul Cain works with Rick Joyner, a Jesuit? Everyone knows General Gerry Boykin is a Jesuit who co-labors with Rick Joyner and Gen. Boykin is a repeated speaker at Calvary Chapel Events. Why They Do Not Warn is because they don’t want you to know how connected some people are to CC.

According to Paul Cain in the short video, Chuck Smith worked at “Huntington Beach Foursquare Church.”

“September 20, 2001

Last week we began looking at the colorful history of the Foursquare movement in Huntington Beach and the unique design of its church at 715 Lake St. We left off with the Korean War beginning in the early 1950s and with Rev. Pete Nyenhuis leading his congregation in the early days of the war. In 1951 Rev. Inman became pastor and during his three years he undertook having the church property fenced. Inman, and his wife and two children remained until 1953. Rev. R.J. Kelly replaced Inman, but left the church after a short time because of his wife’s ill health. Kelly was replaced with the first Rev. Smith — Rev. R.J. Smith. He stayed there from 1953 to 1954 with his wife and their two children- Donna and Jerry. Smith was left and was replaced with the second Rev. Smith Pastor Charles “Chuck” Smith became pastor here in 1954 with his wife Catheryn. The little church was now known as the Lake Avenue Community Foursquare Church and during Smith’s pastorate, a church organ was purchased. Smith left in 1960 to form his own Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa and was replaced with Rev. Gary Robinson.” http://articles.hbindependent.com/2001-09-20/news/export8875_1_new-pastor-hope-chapel-ministry-experience

Why They Do Not Warn- part 1 Chuck Smith and Tim LaHaye Connection

Woe to the Scribes and Pharisees

“Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. 11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” Matt.23:1-12

The last time I addressed a post with Matthew 23 was with my article “Woe” in September 2009. I had wrestled with whether or not to post anything about the Harvest Crusade that had just transpired in August 2009 where Rick Warren (America’s favorite Pastor/and all time heretic) had appeared on stage with Chuck Smith (Calvary Chapel’s Founder and Mega Pastor that transformed the hippies back into yuppies). I waited at that time to see if any of the “Discernment” ministries would address the issue, after all it was them who had warned me about Rick Warren and all his evilness. Where were the flocks of “Watchmen” who were supposed to hold up the mirror to Chuck Smith and say, “Why did you do that, “brother?”" There were “experts” on Emergent church infiltration who had linked Rick Warren’s mega church Seeker driven management style to the likes of C.Peter Wagner and Bill Hybels and the list went on and on, Rick Warren is a “Globalist,” so I heard from these speakers and authors who traveled the globe, yet found time to come to the local Calvary Chapel and sell their books and Cd’s. All the men were silent and the women as well. So, although I knew only ten people might even read my blog at the time I would have to say something because I had sent out warnings about Rick Warren too, I had passed along much of the information I had gathered from those “Discernment” ministries, and I too had been known to say, “I will lift up no one above my God, principal before personalities…” And I wrote my article, “Woe.” Some came, many more than I had anticipated came to read, some objected and chastised me, some even condemned me for “attacking” “God’s anointed.” But the folks who had seen the hand writing on the wall were appreciative, and I got many messages of confirmation and solidarity when they shared their own experiences at being hushed up, pushed out, and black listed for trying to sound their own warnings in their own way at their own Calvary Chapels.

An Apology

This is an apology, not to address anything I’ve said in the past, but failure for not being more discerning then as I feel I am now. When Rick Warren appeared “on stage” with Greg Laurie and Chuck Smith, it wasn’t a shock so much as it was confirmation of the long history they’ve shared and suspicions that there was a close working relationship between them. They finally had displayed outwardly what many had suspicions of inwardly for a long time. What I am about to disclose in the series of posts that follow is information I’ve had for maybe a few weeks, some information again that simply needed confirmation to suspicions, but for the most part none of what I’m going to share has been hidden from view. Often times these types of double minded people do things in plain view, it’s a joke to them, to keep everyone’s eyes preoccupied on the ‘right’ hand so we don’t see what they are doing with their ‘left’ hand, but both are always moving and both always working together. My apology is, “I’m sorry I didn’t see all this sooner and could have warned you of more earlier, but this is what I have found. I don’t want to harm my brethren by not sharing what I have. Other “ministries” I believe have known of this and probably know much more than I do since they’ve been around for much longer, but many of them are a part of this “Network” and have made the choice to suppress information. I am not a part of any “Discernment Ministry.” I’m not working for anyone. I don’t know these people personally and what I am about to share is not a “personal” attack on any one person individually but it is highly suspect that these people who make a living off of “warning” you of false shepherds and false prophets have failed significantly; in this respect their failure to truly warn leads me to believe their failure is not accidental.

“Breaking News”

In 2009 while most of us (including myself) were distracted and appalled (or not) by Chuck Smith embracing Rick Warren, “a friend,” on stage at Harvest 2009 in August; we missed what happened in November 2009. Although this is going back, it’s breaking News to me, and may or may not mean something significant to you. For my first part of the series I will provide information that CNP’s Founder and Moonie supporter, Timothy LaHaye, has had an extensive and long career with Calvary Chapel, so much so that in 2009 the Founder of Calvary Chapel appeared at Tim LaHaye’s Pre-Trib Study Group Conference.

Click on picture to enlarge. Some of you may still think of Tim LaHaye as, “just the guy who wrote Left Behind,” but he’s more than that and his empire wasn’t built overnight.

I don’t want this first post to turn into who Tim LaHaye is, he’s been exposed for years and there is a plethora of information to be found out about him on line. I will not reinvent the wheel here, but I will share more about what I found regarding Tim’s friends.

Birds of a feather…flock together

Most of us who’ve tried to research Tim LaHaye know that it’s near impossible to find a complete and current list of his CNP members. LaHaye’s secrecy is not limited to CNP, he seems to be very selective about his level of transparency. It’s always offensive to me that these “men of God” refuse to be 100% transparent with their associations and with their finances. When asking myself, “Why don’t they (all discernment ministries you may believe are credible right now) warn?” The answer wasn’t hard to find once I saw this:

The image is a screen shot ‘of’ the member list in 2003, which is as far back as I could see on the website. You can search for yourself through the years of the members list at this site:

http://web.archive.org/web/20040405044332/http://www.pre-trib.org/about-members.php

Just know that on today’s website for Pre-Trib Research Center there is not a “Members list,” and now that I’ve drawn attention to it here the archive may not be around too long either.

Look closely at the names. While you are reviewing the list, think of who that particular person shares their ministry with, whom they speak alongside, books they promote, and who they warn you of, and whom they NEVER touch.

Some people may say, “Just because they are on this list means nothing,” “you can’t lump them all together!” To them I say this; when I received the newsletters, and the warnings in years past written by those on this list, they presented their material in like manner. I recall all the links and associations they made between Pagitt, Driscoll, Hybels, and McLaren, and then reported it as a vast conspiracy of Emergent Church infiltrating the Evangelical non-denominational “Bible believing” churches. The same method of association and working together on projects is exactly what I am employing here. Does the method always apply? Can one assume that because, let’s pick a name randomly from the list above…Mr.Bill Perkins, Bill Perkins of Compass International is on this list; he employes many of the same speakers on this list, he has had an extensive career writing for Chuck Missler at Koinonia House, and using Missler and others on the Steeling the Mind Conferences. Is it possible that Perkins, Missler, and Tim LaHaye have connections to one another that prohibit them from exposing one another when they find out that their “brother” is not behaving in a godly manner? Have you ever read an exposition by Missler on Tim LaHaye and his Moonie money? Have you ever read a Berean Call letter from Dave Hunt on Chuck Missler’s connection to William Welty the New Ager who’s Missler’s associate over at SwanSat? Have you read the latest book by Terry James where he goes into detail about the Religious Right’s Conservative political ties to infiltrate and sway the body of Christ to constantly approve of wars under the guise of “Conservatism and Americana Propaganda?” When was the last time Jimmy DeYoung, Brannon Howse’s dear friend, ever exposed Chuck Missler? Remember that time Thomas Ice exposed Norman Geisler’s teaching of Thomas Aqains? Oh, that’s right that never happened. Well, there was that time when Mark Hitchcock exposed Arnold Fruchtenbaum’s links to the Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism, oh oops, that never happened either.

Bedfellows of Tim LaHaye

Chuck Smith wasn’t the only shocking “guest” over at the Pre-Trib Study Group Conference that I found. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge:

For me, the information I gathered on those who speak and share the stage with Tim LaHaye is exactly, “Why They Do Not Warn,” about Tim LaHaye.

Why They Do Not Warn Part 2 click below:

International Apostasy

After all the hulabaloo here we are once again… Ok folks, there’s a back story to this and maybe this is a non issue for some but I will just lay it out as I have come to the knowledge that a vast and sinister network of “False Discerners” is afoot. Some time ago there was an issue concerning Chuck Missler. A friend asked me to look into Chuck Missler to see “where he was wrong” for a friend of theirs (to be named later) who was about to join Chuck Missler on a speaking engagement. I really truly didn’t want to investigate Chuck Missler because it’s one of those, If you have to ask, type of things. (translation, If you have to ask then there’s your answer, something is already wrong with the guy.) I did look into Chuck Missler and I found a plethora of things wrong with the man. My own personal objections to him are as follows:

He is a false prophet.

He is a liar.

He has been working with people like Tim LaHaye (CNP) and Chuck Smith (CCC) for most of his “biblical career.”

He is into stuff that is extra biblical: Numerology, Kabbalah, Mysticism, Demonology, Apocrypha,  and a lot of other weirdness.

So once you do your own lengthy study of all the various outrageous claims (Y2K) that Chuck Missler makes and realize for yourself that his motive most certainly cannot be to teach the bible but must be for other nefarious reasons you too will understand the shock and awe when you see other more/less “notable” and “trustworthy” teachers come alongside him and speak with him.

When I conducted my vetting of Chuck Missler it was just prior to “Future Congress” a conference held in Branson Missouri that included other notorious sensationalists like Tom Horn, but also on the docket was a speaker I had learned about through Roger Oakland’s UTT website, Chris Pinto. Chris Pinto did a lot of work “exposing” David Barton. David Barton is a Dominionist and a false teacher. David Barton has been used extensively for his version of American “Christian” history. Many Calvary Chapels simply adore David Barton and have him speak at their conferences. When I watched one of Chris Pinto’s dvd’s where he exposed the “Founding Fathers” as being much more than patriotic, namely Enlightenment/Illuminati influenced, Masons, and Jesuit ties to much of our early beginnings of America I stood up and wanted others to know the same truth. I saw so many of my brethren getting sucked down the black hole of Glenn Beck and David Barton, and at that time Chris Pinto was the only one I knew who was speaking against it. But, lo and behold it wasn’t long before realizing that Christ Pinto was a willing and able body individual that was joining with Chuck Missler at the “Future Congress” conference. Pinto was also being promoted heavily on other fake discerners shows like, Alex Jones, and Brannon Howse. So, I asked (via email) Roger Oakland (who had promoted Chris Pinto) and LHT (Lighthouse Trails Research) “Why is Chris Pinto with Chuck Missler at this conference, I thought Chris Pinto was supposed to be on the up and up?” I did not get an answer. I pursued the issue concerning Chuck Missler and sent emails out stating what I had found on the guy, that his connections were all wrong and he was a man never to be trusted and people who are “alerting” and “discerning” should not be speaking along with him or it would stumble the flock. It was soon that a fellow blogger informed me that Missler was on a speaking engagement with Roger Oakland. No wonder I had not received an answer, this blogger posted on it and I concurred that the joining was in bad form, especially considering all the monumental evidence out there that pointed to what a false prophet Chuck Missler is. Quickly I began to be attacked and ostracized for pointing out that simple fact. Then I did hear back from Roger Oakland, he demanded I reveal the identity of the fellow blogger and I most certainly would not have even if I had that information at the time because it was very uncouth, and controlling.  I took the liberty to pose the question again, Why is Pinto speaking with Missler, why are you speaking with Missler, certainly you know who he is, after all these years of knowing him, after all the investigative research into the book Faith Undone, surely you must know that Missler is not good. The last communication was, “I WILL NOT GO THERE.” from Roger Oakland in regards to my line of questioning on Chuck Missler. To Roger Oakland’s benefit, he did attempt to appease me by saying “they” (IDK who this meant) were in contact with the group that was putting on the conference (where Chuck Missler was to join Roger Oakland) and “things were happening behind the scenes that you (I) did not know about.” In the end, I waited for another blogger to conduct Matthew 18 and waited, and finally did my own blog post about the whole issue (See, “A time to speak” below). In the end, Roger Oakland did not end up speaking at this conference, and consequently two others bailed out, David Hocking and Ray Yungen. This does not mean anything however, because none of those who left that conference ever came out and stated that Chuck Missler is a false prophet, false discerner, and out of pure heart and a desire to stand on sound doctrine did they submit that Missler is wrong in anyway, they simply left quietly without reference. It was my conclusion after finding out that Blue Letter Bible which was started by Chuck Missler (Khouse) as well as Sowing Circle (which is another Missler related venture) did I realize that what could have been (is) a contributing factor for all the silence was that these men have ministries with ties to Missler’s ministries (by ties I mean $$$). Obviously there are links from BLB to Hope for Today and to UTT and other ministries Roger Oakland has overseas. It was assumed that Roger Oakland left the US speaking circuit to attend to those ministries overseas, however he does still speak at conferences in Canada, and probably other countries as well, Africa comes to mind of a recent trip Roger Oakland took there… Anyway, Yesterday I saw this over at KHouse Africa. I am not totally amazed by this. Yes if you click enough you can get from KHouse Africa to UTT. And if you look hard enough you too can find out why there has not been a complete severing of ties between Missler and Oakland. At one time I truly valued Roger Oakland’s ministry, his book (if he indeed wrote it) Faith Undone, helped me to see more than he intended I believe. The first prophecy conference I ever went to was in Arizona where I heard David Hocking, Chuck Missler, and Roger Oakland do presentations, so I know that they have worked together in the past. It had been my hope at one time that Roger Oakland was merely deceived by Missler and once he saw with his own eyes, and did his own vetting of Missler he would realize that Missler is truly a WOLF and Roger would flee immediately, however that never happened. There are some people who truly see no harm in Chuck Missler, KHouse Africa, selling Roger Oakland’s material. Some will say that Roger has no control over who sells his merchandise (Amazing Discoveries/SDA ministry) or who links to UTT (Lighthouse Trails), and that what would be more disconcerting was if Roger linked to Missler. With that line of thinking I have little to say in rebuttal. I do know that these networks of people exist, they support one another, they cover for one another, they use some to “expose” and others to endorse all the while remaining bedfellows. What you do with this information is for you to wrestle with.
